Pleasant Places

O LORD,

You are my portion
and my cup,
and with you I am secure.

My boundary lines
have fallen in pleasant places,
and my inheritance
is wonderful and sure.

I will praise the Lord,
my teacher,
who instructs me in the night.

I have set the Lord before me,
and I will not
be moved.

And so my heart is glad,
my tongue will sing,
and I will rest secure.
